Plants for the production of soaps and detergents
STRNADOVÁ, Barbora
The thesis is focused on plants useful for the production of soaps and detergents, therefore the thesis focuses only on vegetable oils useful for soap-making. To in-troduce the subject, a general description of soap and detergents is given at the be-ginning, including the chemical principle of their function and production. Sub-sequently, the work is devoted to oilseeds, since, apart from the oils produced from them, they are the key to soap-making. In this chapter, the main worldwide and European oilseeds have been described, including their botanical classification, description and characterization of the composition of their oils. Finally, a list of plants and their parts useful for the pro-duction of soaps and detergents is drawn up.
Hodnocení environmentálních dopadů při produkci vybraných olejnin
PLÁNSKÁ, Miroslava
The diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of the environmental load, which is related to the standard cultivation practices of oil crops (sunflower - Helianthus annuus, oilseed rape - Brassica napus, hemp - Cannabis sativa) by using the life cycle assessment method. The work deals with the comparison of these oil crops in the case of the production of 1 liter of potentially extractable cooking oil. For the purposes of the work, the functional unit of production (1 liter of oil) and the unit of area (equivalent unit of area needed to obtain the same amount of oil) were deter-mined. In the evaluation of environmental aspects, within the selected impact cate-gories, the greatest environmental load was associated with the production and use of fertilizers, the use of chemical plant protection, and agrotechnical operations.
Vývoj a rozmístění pěstování a produkce řepky olejky ve světě
KUČEROVÁ, Lucie
The bachelor thesis deals with oilseed rape - distribution of its production according to the countries of the world, NUTS EU regions and also distribution of its sowing areas in districts of the Czech Republic. It also deals with the development of oilseed rape production in the countries of the world (between 1961 and 2017), in the NUTS EU (2000-2017) and in the districts of the Czech Republic (1990-2019). The data sources are Faostat, Eurostat and Agrocenzus. The data are processed in the form of tables, development charts and especially cartographic products - cartodiagrams, cartograms of development and maps of localized points. Oilseed rape production in the world continues to grow. Canada is the largest producer, follows China and India, but the largest Production comes from the EU (mainly France, Germany and Poland), where it is concentrated in the central part of the European temperate zone. In the Czech Republic, oilseed rape is grown almost throughout the territory, except for mountain border areas, extensive agglomerations and other non-agricultural spaces.
Pěstování olejnatých rostlin pro výrobu bionafty v České republice
Kobzinková, Nikola
The bachelor thesis deals with the history of the use of plants for the production of fuels, specifically for diesel engines. There are described crop rotation in the growing of oil plants and consequently their use in the field of transport, ie in the field of biofuels. It will describe the economic and energy demands of biodiesel production, which will give an overview of the development of financial support in the production and subsequent distribution of biodiesel produced. At the end, with the help of the obtained sources, a clear conclusion will be drawn, which also relates to the problem of substituting biodiesel-based fuels.
Vegetace plevelů vybraných druhů obilnin a olejnin
Kašparová, Pavlína
This bachelor thesis is focused on evaluation of weed infestation on selected land in the cadastral area of Vlčkov and Horní Sloupnice. Observation is concentrating on growth areas of winter wheat, spring barley, winter oilseed rape and soya bean. The results were processed by multidimensional analysis of ecological data. Twenty-seven different weeds were found on the observed land in total. The heighest number of infestation species were found in soya bean area and the least were found in spring barley area. The most frequent weed species were Veronica persica, Galium aparine, Stellaria media and Viola arvensis in winter wheat and in spring barley there were Viola arvensis, Veronica persica and Galium aparine. Among winter oilseed rape there was the biggest amount of Hordeum vulgare as engaged crop and between weeds there were Viola arvensis, Fumaria officinalis and Lamium purpureum. The most frequent weed were Fumaria officinalis, Avena fatua and Viola arvensis in soya bean species. The common species for all crops were Viola arvensis.

Kopečková, Jana
Bachelor thesis Vegetable oils - their importance, production and health benefits were carried out at the department of Post-Harvest Technology of Horticultural Products at the Faculty of Horticulture at the Mendel University in Brno in the academic year 2018/2019. The literature part deals with the basic chemical structure of lipids and the reactions that most often occur in lipids. Crops, which are the most used, both within the Czech Republic and in the world, include rape, soybean, sunflower, cotton, peanut, oil palm and coconut palm. For each of these oilseeds, its chemical composition and influence on consumer health are mentioned. In the next part, there are legislative requirements related to the issue and technology of oil production. In the practical part, 12 types of oils were analyzed, one of the basic parameters were determined - peroxide value, acid value, saponification value and iodine value. Methods, which were used, are from valid ČSN standards. The results were statistically processed.
Current use of grain and oil crops for feeding of farm animals
JURA, Dominik
Cereals are an important source of nitrogenous substances and energy in the form of starch. They also contain, to a lesser extent, antinutritional substances such as alkyl resorcinols, non-starch carbohydrates, phytic acid and others. For the feeding of farm animals, they are processed and treated mainly by extrusion, pressing, drying and the like. Legumes are a source of crude protein. They are widely used, both for hard, mature seeds and for harvesting green matter. They can often fully replace oilseeds in compound feed and are an essential component of compound feed. Oilseeds are a valuable component of compound feed. They are mainly characterized by high fat content. Waste from the industrial processing of oil seeds produces pressed pieces or extracted scrap, which are widely used as components of feed mixtures. These components have, in addition to high fat content, high protein content.
Vyhodnocení aspektů formující komoditní vertikálu řepky
Martínek, Jan
This thesis deals with the characterization and description of the commodity chain of rape oilseeds. It defines the development of production and production areas in the European Union and worldwide. Part of the work is devoted to the development of the commodity chain of oilseed rape in conditions of Czech republic. It describes and compares the review of the utilization of rape oilseed in our country. It analyzes foreign trade with this commodity and evaluates the long term developments in the process of EU enlargement. The work characterizes the price trends of oilseed rape and its potential impact on the price of petroleum. Using the data obtained, there are evaluated possibilities of rape oilseed in the future. The obtained results show that the Czech Republic is among the most intense growers and producers of rapeseed in the EU 28 and in the world.
Ekonomika pěstování olejnin v České republice
Vrtílek, Petr
This thesis deals with the economics of oilseed crops. Characterizes and analyzes the development of the production, use, importance and last but not least the economic aspects of oilseed crops mainly in the Czech Republic. In the theoretical part was made a survey of the development and production of selected major oilseeds acreage in the world, in the EU and the Czech Republic, as well as the importance and use of oil for food and technical (non-food). Was processed by with the issue of growing the most widely used oil in the Czech Republic - oilseed rape and sunflower. Own work is focused on comparing silvicultural technologies and economies growing oilseed rape and sunflower in two agricultural holdings (AGRO Brno - Tuřany, a. s a AGRIA, a. s. Nížkovice) farming in maize and sugar beet growing region.
